About our Pastor
Jennifer & Kevin Grant
Pastor Kevin Grant is married to his best friend, Jennifer, and together they are the joyful parents of one son, Matthew Grant.
After working for seven years in commercial radio broadcasting as well as anchoring the national news, Pastor Grant earned his Master of Theology degree at Dallas Theological Seminary (2002) with an emphasis in Pastoral Leadership.
He is also a member of the Evangelical Teaching Society, and affiliated with Founders Conference, Fellowship of Independent Reformed Evangelicals, and a past member of the American Guild of Organists.
The Grant’s moved to Ponca City from the Memphis area so that Pastor Grant could bring verse-by-verse expository preaching to Ponca City, Oklahoma for the ultimate purpose of reaching the nations for Jesus Christ.
The Grant’s found out about Providence through the Master’s Seminary and were delighted to see the church’s passion for preaching God’s Word and for reaching the nations for Christ. True Christians need to hear the clear and accurate preaching of Scripture; they hunger for it and they wander aimlessly without it.
Pastor Grant’s personal interests include: time with Jennifer and their son Matthew, church history, biblical theology and exposition, hymn-writing, traveling, and on very rare occasions, a round of golf!
About Jennifer:
Mrs. Grant also leads Bible studies for women, both at Providence as well as through her involvement in community wide Bible study groups, such as Bible Study Fellowship and other national studies of Scripture.
In addition to being a full-time wife and mother, Jennifer is also a former staff member of Campus Crusade for Christ and now works from home as an editor for the president of Campus Crusade for Christ International.
Currently, she also enjoys leading a Bible study for young ladies who attend our church and participating in Bible Studies at Providence and with women throughout our city.
